FAQ

Q :

Does the  Clapp baby slider  fit on any stroller ?

A :

The Clapp baby slider is compatible with most standard strollers found on the market (single stroller with 4 to 8 wheels).  It also fits on certain 3 wheel strollers. (See our facebook page for more details)

Q :

Why is the safety leash sold separately ?

A :

This cuts down on the overall cost of the Clapp baby slider and gives parents the option of making their own leash.

Q :

Can I use the Clapp baby slider like a crazy carpet to slide with it down a hill ?

A :

We strongly advise against this as the straps and rigid extremities may be hazardous to the user.

Q :

I accidently stepped on a plastic buckle and it broke. Can I fix it ?

A :

If it is the male part of the buckle, you can purchase a 25mm (1 inch) wide buckle to replace easily. If it is the female part, just contact us and we will show you how to replace it.

Q :

I crossed a few streets that were not snow covered and the plastic carpet got damaged (pierced / tore).

A :

The Clapp baby slider is great on snowy and icy surfaces. If you use it on concrete or any abrasive surface, it will deteriorate rapidly. If you live in an urban area and often have to cross abrasive surfaces, we suggest you check out our facebook page. Here you will learn how to make a simple tool that will allow you to cross any street or place.

Q :

Is it normal that my stroller wheels leave dents on the slider ?

A :

The wheels can leave some marks but certain strollers (and babies) are heavier than others therefore, they could leave deeper marks that could eventually pierce the carpet. By adding a small piece of carpet or cardboard between your slider and the wheels of the stroller, you will greatly prolong the life of your Clapp baby slider.
